ONE GALAXY.
MANY POWERS. — the galaxy of Echoes Beyond: two million star systems across eight great regions
Eight regions of one galaxy.
Two rings at the heart, four quadrants around the rim, and two long stretches of dark past the arm. Every region sits somewhere on the line between safety and opportunity — the further out you push, the less the rules protect you, and the more there is to claim.
The Core
The first space humanity claimed in the new galaxy: bright, crowded and fiercely contested. Dense traffic, hard-won colonies, and nowhere at all to hide.
Inner Expanse
The broad ring beyond the Core, where established empires hold busy lanes and the map changes by the season rather than by the hour. The closest this galaxy comes to safe ground.
Shattered Expanse
A quadrant of the rim strewn with the wreckage of something enormous. Rich picking for salvagers willing to fly without an escort.
Ember Reach
Young, furious stars crowd this stretch of the rim. Energy is abundant and so is the radiation; every colony here is a calculated bet.
Silent Divide
A long quiet gap in the arm where the stars thin out and the lanes stretch. Fleets cross it fast, or they do not cross it at all.
The Void
The dimmest quarter of the rim, where sensors reach further than anyone wants them to and the nearest help is several jumps behind you.
The Drift
Beyond the rim the disc gives out and the stars scatter. Long crossings, thin support, and the first place the echo starts to answer back.
Unknown Fade
The outermost dark, where the survey data simply stops. The highest risk in the galaxy, and the only country nobody has finished counting.
// Open PvP everywhere — safety in the Core is emergent, not enforced.

Big enough to get lost in. Exact enough to trust.
A Dreadnought is 6.66 kilometres of hull, and the galaxy still swallows it whole. Every system in the frame is built from the same honest math, spelled out in the tooltip — two million places waiting for a name.
Four powers. No throne.
The arks never landed together. From scattered survivors rose new powers, alliances of blood and necessity that now divide the spaces between the stars, and each keeps a long, exact memory of how you treat them.
Convoy guilds and freight cartels that keep goods moving along the safe lanes. Escort their caravans and your standing buys cheaper goods, steady contracts, and friends in every market.
A volunteer patrol fleet policing high-security space and posting bounties on raiders. Earn their favor and the law answers when your sectors run hot, cross them, and the bounty is on you.
Raider bands haunting predictable hot zones out along the rim and the Drift, loud, violent, and drawn to heat. Make enough noise and they will come looking for your convoys.
Isolationist enclaves holding sealed systems behind silent borders. They want nothing from you but distance, or a toll for passage. No one knows what they heard out in the dark to make them seal the doors.

The map is the game.
Echoes Beyond plays out on one living star chart — not menus about a galaxy, but the galaxy itself. Every strategic fact is drawn where it happens: the lanes, the fleets, the fog, the borders.
Fleets fly hop by hop along charted lanes in real time — no teleports, no instant strikes, no way to arrive unannounced.
Every fleet underway traces a visible path. See it, compute it, and be waiting at the third hop — interception is the tactical game.
The dark stays dark until you chart it. Discovered systems glow, and your map becomes the story of everywhere you have been.
Zoom out and empires read as light — luminous blooms of claimed space, with borders that shift week to week.
Find your system.
Pick a region, choose your friends and enemies, and carve out a corner of the map that is unmistakably yours — the alpha opens the gates.
